2021 Sylva Pool Information

The Jackson County Parks and Recreation Department is scheduled to open the Sylva Pool on Friday, June 9^th.   After careful consideration and guidance from the CDC and the Jackson County Health Department we have put in place a plan to open for the 2021 pool season. Based on recommendations and guidelines we are allowed to open at full capacity. To maximize participation, we have altered our normal daily schedule to allow for more usage. The cost will be $3.00 per person. While participants are waiting to check in we will have markers in place to encourage social distancing.  

Rates:

Open Swim: $3.00 per person (Lap Swim $1.00)

Season Passes: Individual is $80.00, Family is $150.00 (Immediate family members only)

Pool Parties:

$80.00 for 2 hours(6:30-8:30pm), plus $10.00 per guard per hour with a two guard minimum.  Additional guards needed if 30 or more participants.   Friday/Saturday/Sunday only.   Maximum amount of participants for a pool party this season is 50.  Please call Michael Hopkins 828-631-2022 for information on how to reserve a date for a pool party.  Please understand that pool parties are reserved on a first come first serve policy.

Swim Lessons:

We will not have swim lessons this season as it would be impossible to adheare to the social distancing guidelines.
