Picnic Facilities
There are single picnic tables located throughout the park for your enjoyment. These tables are available on the first come, first served basis.
Picnic Shelter
There is a picnic shelter to accommodate larger groups located near the boat dock on the north side of the park. You may rent the shelter for $20.00. See the campground manager for more details.
Boat Launch
The boat launch is located on the north side of the park below the picnic shelter. Boat launching is free to campground patrons. Others must pay $1.00 per boat.
Fishing
Lake Glenville has an abundance of bass and walleye. Lake Glenville is 165 feet deep so the fish are plentiful. All North Carolina fishing laws will be enforced.
Playground
There is a small playground located on the north side of the park above the picnic shelter.
Hiking
A hiking trail is currently under construction on the campground. Please see the campground manager for more information.
There are three trails located in the communities surrounding Andrews Park. Listed below are trails within thirty miles or less from the campground.
Bear Wallow Falls - Located in the new state park - Gorges State Park. The hike is a moderate to strenuous 1.6 mile hike to an overlook to Bear Wallow Falls. This is one of three hikes the new state park offers. To get there from the campground head back out to 107 S. At the crossroads of 64 and 107 in Cashiers take 64E until you come to NC Hwy 281 on your right. Follow NC Hwy 281 1 mile and turn left into the gravel parking lot of Gorges State Park. Follow the signs to the trail.
Rainbow Falls - This is a moderate hike leading to three beautiful waterfalls, one being 200 feet high. To get there follow directions to Bear Wallow Falls. Park in the gravel parking lot at the State Park. Walk back up to the highway (NC281) and take a left. Walk about 200 yards and follow the old logging trail on your left.
Silver Run Falls - An easy hike to a 40 foot falls with a great swimming hole. To get there take 107S through the intersection in Cashiers. Travel 4.2 miles from Cashiers and look for a small pull-off area on the left. Follow the trail into the woods.
