 Roscoe Poteet Swimming Pool located on Municipal Drive in Sylva is owned by the Town of Sylva and is operated by the Jackson County Recreation/Parks Department. The Sylva pool is open from late May through August. Children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. The Sylva Swimming pool offers a kiddie play area with dumping buckets, mushroom fountain and spray attractions, restrooms, hot showers and concessions. There are a limited number of chairs and loungers available and they are on a first come first serve basis, so it's a good idea to bring your own.

 Red Cross Certified Swim Lessons are offered for ages 5 years and above Monday - Friday 5:15 - 6:00pm. Cost is $25 per session.
