The Recreation Department Advisory Board is compiled of appointed citizens from Jackson County. The Advisory Board is a non-policy making board that advocates for the Recreation/Parks Department on issues related to recreation, parks, natural resources, and open spaces.
Appointed members serve two year terms. Citizens that are interested in serving on the Jackson County Advisory Board should contact the Jackson County Recreation/Parks Department at (828) 293-3053.
